Rivian’s Connect+ system is great and offers a good amount of features for $14.99 a month. Just yesterday, Rivian announced Connect+, and here’s what you need to know. Now, along with the other range of apps, you get Audible and Apple Music built-in to the infotainment screen. Now you can also use Google Cats and YouTube enabling 3000 apps to be displayed using Google’s System, while also having a native YouTube app so you can watch videos in high-definition. This Google CAst mirroring system works with both iPhones and Androids. They also mention that you can use an iPad or an Android tablet to mirror videos.

Now, with this subscription, you get high-quality LTE for up to 8 devices at a time.

This update also brings spatial audio through Dolby Atmos if you use Audible and if your R1 vehicle has Rivian Premium Audio which is just an upgraded audio system for an extra $1750 on the Gen 2 2025 models.

Rician customers will automatically be signed up for a 60-day trial of Connect+ to see the new features and if they really want to be $15 a month or $150 a year.

NOTE: You can only use Apple Music if you have a subscription for it on the infotainment screen.
