Doomsday clock closer to midnight amid climate disaster

In its 78-year-old history, this is the closest it has been to humanity’s destruction. This is amid advancing AI, climate disasters, and wars all over the world.

The Doomsday Clock is a symbolic clock maintained by the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists. The clock’s hands are manually adjusted by them, and closer to midnight, the worse for humanity. The clock is not directly predicting a nuclear war or climate disaster, but is rather seen as a warning to the world of what could happen. As it nears closer to midnight, this is a wake up call to everybody.

World leaders, this is urgent and you know. We must take action to ensure our future, and yes, you know it.
