The VISTIQ has just started deliveries, and the IONIQ 9 has begun production at the Metaplant in Georgia.
These 2 three-row EVs will be hot in the US market due to their luxurious features and and compelling price tag under 80k undercutting the Lucid Gravity and Rivian R1S.
Cadillac’s VISTIQ will start at 78k, and for that base price, you get some great standard features such as heated and ventilated seats in the front, and heated seats in the back. You will also get 7 seats as standard, with an option for 6 seats for an extra $800.
The IONIQ 9, which we have less details about, will be built at the Metaplant in Georgia which has just opened a few days ago. It shares the E-GMP platform with the phenomenal Kia EV9. It will have the following trims: SE, SEL, Limited, and the top-of-the-line Calligraphy. The IONIQ 9 will feature leg rests just like the EV9 and has a parametric pixel design from all around the car.
I am assuming that, unlike the EV9, the top trim of the car will have 7 seats. The GT-line, or the EV9’s top model, only came with 6 seats. In a recent email about the IONIQ 9, they said it will have, “available 2nd row captain’s chairs.”
