New Tesla V4 can charge at up to 325 kW

This is massive upgrade as it is 30% increase from V3 Superchargers. This will make trips more convenient on Tesla Superchargers.

This is also beneficial for other EVs as everyone slowly adopts the NACS port.

It is important to mention that the only Tesla that can take advantage of these charging speeds is the Cybertruck. We don’t know if the Model Y Refresh can access these charging speeds, but we hope to find that info soon.

However, this is the good news for other EVs. EVs such as Hyundai’s and Kia’s are set to take advantage of these speeds as they have a faster 800V architecture. This will make charging at Superchargers faster for non-Teslas. Currently, they charge faster at CCS stations, even the ones with the NACS port (IONIQ 5 Refresh) with an adapter.

This is great news as EVs with a faster 800V or faster architecture can utilize this at Superchargers! More brands will continue to adopt this port, such as the Lucid Gravity, Hyundai IONIQ 9, IONIQ 5 Refresh 2025, and many more.
